Introduction to Aromatherapy workshop with Katy Beck-Hill - Wednesday 2nd July

Spend a relaxing day immersed in scent and find your new favourite smell. See first hand the effects that aromatherapy can have on our minds.

Katy Beck-Hill is a reflexologist and a clinical aromatherapist. She loves to share her passion in all things aromatic. Essential oils can have a powerful effect on our minds and can positively contribute towards our emotional wellbeing.

She runs a private practice at her home by the sea, holds workshops and makes her own range of essential oil diffusers. templeofthyme.co.uk

Join us and discover how to weave scent into your daily routine. Experiment with different oils and make your own blend. Slow down with a little self-care and be mindful in the moment while you treat your senses to a new experience and invite the balance back in.

You will learn:

- Appropriate dilutions for inhalation and topical use and basic principles of essential oil safety 

- The benefits and uses of lavender and explore other oils which compliment it

- Basic blending techniques

- How to make an aromatherapy rollerball and create your own to take away and use on your pulse points

- How to make an earthenware clay diffuser and create your own to use at home

We will discover a variety of scents so that you can get a feel for things you like. What more of a perfect place to do this than on a lavender farm

Day 9am - 4pm.All equipment is provided along with a healthy lunch and drinks and snacks throughout the day.
