I met Jane Morrow of @kilnandthislepottery at Barkway market in the summer through a mutual friend. She is a potter from Stirling in Central Scotland, and creates all her delightful pottery from her little garage studio at home. Jane tells me she loves experimenting and doesn’t tend to stick to just one style and enjoys making individual pieces, trying out new ideas and adding a bit of fun and novelty along the way. Her flexible approach was ideal for me so I asked her to make her version of a Soap Dish for me and she came up with the idea of the Trinket Dish both pictured here. A bee hive inspired wax melter will follow soon.
