January

📝January is a time for reviewing and planning for the following year but also a time to rest.

💜The lavender year runs from March right through to December from the Spring markets, first green shoots, taking cuttings, potting on, planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, opening the Yard and Lavender Field to visitors, events, workshops, photo shoots, harvesting, distilling and finishing with Christmas Markets so after the reviewing and initial planning it is then a time for a break ready to start a fresh in March.

🗓We have lots planned for the year here are dates for the first markets and a brief outline with key dates for the rest of the year.

🎪Sun 1st March 10-3 BEAM Theatre, HERTFORD, SG14 1PS

🎪Sun 8th March 10 - 2 Cottered Village Hall, SG9 9QR

🎪Sun 15th March Tudor Square, Ware. I won’t be there as it is Mothering Sunday and I have church commitments.

👩‍🏫 March - Distilling Workshops begin.

👩‍🏫 May - Willow workshops begin.

🪴 May - The Yard opens for plant sales.

💜 Sat 20th June The Lavender Field opens.

📸 July photoshoots for dogs, horse & families begin.

☀️Sat 18th July Summer celebration in the Lavender Field. Artisan market & music - rescheduled from the solstice due to the ⚽️🙄
