24th July - Harvesting & distilling begins

☔️Good evening 😊

💐As you can see from the photo, the lavender is fading now. This variety is called Maillette and I will start distilling it next week for our finest essential oil. You can still pick bunches of it and it will smell amazing but if you are looking for colour then we have dried Folgate lavender bunches in our gift shop ready picked for you.

🐝Our Dutch lavender which is large and pale is just coming in to flower and our insects are loving it and make beautiful photos and videos. 🦋

☀️We are open Friday to Sunday 11am - 4pm this week and the weather is looking to stay dry.

🪴We still have a selection of lavender plants and now we have had some rain, now would be a better time to plant them in your garden.

☕️🧁We have a small selection of refreshments.

💜We have a selection of handcrafted lavender gifts

🐶Dogs are welcome.
